Lemonade and Cookies

This past weekend, I had a small garage sale and the girls sold lemonade and cookies. It was my cousins idea and, she of course, made shirts for them to wear while they worked! It ended up being a great thing for Maddie. We are really trying to teach her how blessed she is and grateful she should be for the things she has. Of course, she's 5 so she always wants more "stuff" but we are also trying to teach her that in order to buy things, someone has to work for the money it requires. And we don't always get everything we want-nor do we need everything. It was good for her to work for her own money, which she enjoyed doing, and now-she's decided to save it up for something she wants!
