And yes...if you look closely, some lights on my tree just went out. Perfect, juuuust perfect. :/

Outfit
I love that Brooklyn has all of Maddie's old clothes to wear. This morning, I put her in one of Maddie's cute little Christmas outfits. She looked so cute!
The Polar Express
Madz has had so much fun with all the Christmas activities they've been doing at school! A few weeks ago, they had Grinch day. This past Friday was The Polar Express day. All the kids wore their favorite Christmas jammies and brought a stuffed animal. They watched the movie, did fun crafts and incorporated The Polar Express into their learning for the day. She had a blast!

Brooklyn Update
Blah...my camera is broke so all my pics are phone pics these days!
Anyways......
Brooklyn is quickly moving towards that 3 year mark and still surprises me with a lot of things. She speaks so well and knows a lot of advanced words and phrases. I think we have her big sister to thank for that! ;)
She's very into school things because of Maddie and enjoys doing her "homework" and wearing her back-pack when she goes to Sunday School.
You are potty trained...praise Jesus! We wear a pull-up at night but panties during nap time and we've even reached the point where I allow her to wear panties when we leave the house! Yay!
You are my pint-sized child. People call you a nugget and you can still have a baby-look to you at times even though you very much act like a big girl. Our conversations with you are SO funny and I'll have to write a separate post just to include them all!
You are a mama's girl and continue to be pretty shy. You are not the take-charge type and once you find a toy you like, you are locked in and will stay quiet for a while.
You don't have a single athletic bone in your body!!! You are girly as the day is long.
We love you so much, Brooklyn Hope! You are a sweetheart and we are so grateful for our baby girl!
Easton-16 months
Time continues to fly by and Easton is already 16 months old-wow! You continue to be quite the chunk and won't turn down much when it comes to food. You mostly wear 24 month clothing but at times can still get by with an 18 month outfit. You take 2 naps and go to bed for the night at about 6:30-7. Yep, a great sleeper and all i have to say is "lets go night-night" and you walk with me back to your room. Easton, you really have such an easy-going personality which is very welcomed in this house! You are often bossed around by your sisters and don't know what to do other than smile about it and go right along with them! I'm a little nervous because you have become a little climber so I really have to keep my eye on you! For now, everyone is being called dada, though you can say many other things.
Love you more and more with each passing day, buddy boy!

New Hats and An Update
On Friday, I made a trip to Walmart for groceries. My mom came with me, and though the kids already had hats for their heads, she decided to buy them more because they were so cute! The cold front was coming in quickly so they got fast use out of their new, warm head gear!
Maddie:
This girl loves school and is doing great! She is absorbing so much and repeats it back to us constantly. She's so smart and has done fantastic on all her report cards. She has a knack for art! Not only does she love it but seems to be pretty good at it too. She's always looking for paper to draw on. She still is in dance but I think this may be her last year. I'm not surprised that she is more of our "sporty" girl. She loves to run and wants to take karate and play t-ball!
Brooklyn:
This girl still loves her mama and I don't complain one bit! :) I see a lot of myself in Brooklyn. She's more reserved and hesitant when it comes to new things or people-the polar opposite of her sister. She's so sweet but I'll be the first to admit that things have been a little more trying lately. She's the epitome of a 2 year old. Whining and NOT sharing toys are her favorite things to do right now. Grr! We just continue to be consistent in our discipline and hold out hope that she will make it through this stage alive, just like Maddie!
Easton:
Our sweet buddy boy! If there was ever a heavy baby-you'd be it! Seriously, you are one SOLID boy! I fear how my grocery bill will look once you hit the teenage years! You are such a sweetheart and melt me with your smile. You are also ALL BOY. It's so crazy how I can already see the difference from the girls. And people are right....boys are totally easier! You love balls, cars and toy story! We're working on those one year molars still and some days they make you cranky, but otherwise you are our rough and tough little guy!
