Swing set

Finally, we had a nice day (where there was time and no one was sick) for Jaime and my dad to put the kids' swing set up!  After working all morning, they got it done and the kids are loving it! Now, we need more nice days so they can get lots of use out of it!!

Class Party

Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to Maddie's V-day party today but my good friend Laura took a few pictures for me! I snapped a few once she got home. Maddie said her party was "awesome" and I can tell she's loaded up on sugar! I'm so glad she had such a good time!

Combo Post

Today has been a great day! Jaime took off from work to go with me to see Dr. Harris. It was our gender sonogram today and once Miss Haylee finally decided to uncross her legs, they confirmed it was a girl! Everything checked out great and it was fun to see how much she has grown! I'm 21 weeks and 2 days, today, and feeling well. I'm still wearing small maternity clothes and have gained a total of about 15 pounds. She moves like crazy and Maddie even felt her kick the other day. It was an exciting moment!

After our appointment, we planned lunch together to celebrate Valentine's day early since Jaime will be coaching tomorrow. We headed to Chuy's but stopped off at the mall first, where Jaime had this waiting on me. Yum....my favorite!

Valentine's Day isn't usually a big deal in our house. We aren't the kind of people to drop hundreds of dollars just for the sake of it being February 14th. We enjoy sweet and simple cause we love each other EVERY day!
I plan on making Jaime's favorite meal tonight and Aunt Mel is coming over too, because its Thursday night and that's just what we do! It's the little things.... :)

Girl Stuff

If you know Brooklyn, then you know she is our "girlie girl"! She loves all things pink and would rather play inside with her Barbies and princesses than her sister ever did. She's really enjoyed their Barbie Dream-house that Santa brought for Christmas. We had a little play time this morning while I was making the girls' beds.

Lazy Days

The weather lately has kept the kids and I trapped in the house during the day. No fun!! So we've filled our time with games and movies. Brooklyn loves to play UNO and Candyland with her dad and sister. When they're gone, she brings her Barbies out and plays with those. The other day, we found the old cartoon movie Hercules on Netflix. Her and Easton love it and it has become one of our daily rituals while its been so cold and wet outside. Though I don't look forward to pollen or 100 plus temps, I am looking forward to some warmer, nicer days. We need to get back outside!! Here are Brooklyn and Easton, laying on the couch, watching a movie yesterday while it rained.
