6 year well-check

I picked Maddie up from school early today and took her to see Dr. Smith. It was time for her 6 year well-check! Her visit was great. She weighed 42 pounds and was 47 inches tall. Her weight is anywhere from the 25th-50th percentile but her height is always around 85th percentile. At this rate, Dr. Smith says she will probably grow to be 5'7 or 5'8! My tall girl!

Her balance and coordination was good and he said that he can tell she's doing great at school! When he asked her what her favorite thing at recess was, she told him "chase boys"! We all couldn't help but laugh!

Maddie-you are so special! You have always been strong willed and slightly stubborn, but you've really been growing up a lot. School has been wonderful for you and you are doing a great job! You have leadership qualities that I pray will be used in powerful ways. Lately, you have become even more of a helper to me with you recently learning to help with the dishes. It excites you to do them and I greatly appreciate the help! And the most exciting thing is you learning to read! I can just hardly believe it....such a grown up girl!!

Play Date

On Tuesday, I got to go visit my friend Amy and her girls. Brooklyn and Easton had a great time playing in their "castle" and I enjoyed catching up! I tried to get some pictures of Macy and Eden, but they were too fast for me! Here are a few of B and E:

A Year

Our Boy

This guy is going to be quite the athlete someday. He's big and tall, so the possibilities are endless!
