Haylee's bedding

I picked out fabric for the bedding this time and my mom sewed the skirt and bumper for me. I knew the colors and patterns I wanted and was pleased when I found something I liked at Hobby Lobby. It was easy and much cheaper than buying an already made bedding. Plus, it was a special project! Then, I found a lady to paint a door hanger for the hospital once she's born. It turned out great!

Spring Break

We stayed home for Spring Break but still had lots of fun! We: played with cousins, the girls created their own treasure map, spent time outside, celebrated Maddie's birthday, registered for Haylee at Babies-r-us, ate at Raising Canes and so on!

Maddie's Party

The trouble with having a Spring birthday, is the weather is unpredictable. We had plans of having Maddie's party at the Whitehouse park where she could run and play. But with the rainy conditions, we had to move it inside instead. She didn't mind and had a great time, which is all that really matters!

Happy Birthday, Maddie

Today, my big girl turned 6! She started off the morning with breakfast with her dad. When they got home, she opened her presents from us. She got: a new outfit, Twister, a new book she can practice reading with and a t-ball kit! We spent lots of time playing the rest of the day and enjoying our Maddie girl. Saturday is her birthday party and we are all excited to continue the celebration!
