Class Valentine

Maddie's teacher sent home a request for Valentine's cards. On Friday, they're going to have their class V-day party and we've spent the week gearing up. She's so excited! Maddie is such an animal person that when I found some puppy and kitty cards, I knew they were the one! I had to get 22 of them, no envelopes and we could tape a piece of candy on if we wanted to. Maddie wrote her name on each card so they would know who it was from while I did the taping. She can't wait till Friday!

Valentine's Cards

The moms of Central got together today with our kiddos to make V-day cards for sick children. I helped Brooklyn make 2 sweet cards while Easton ran around and acted like a boy. That includes playing with cars and throwing crayons across the room! :)

20 Weeks

Today marks the half-way point for me! Now that the stomach bug is past us, I'm feeling pretty good! I've gained about 12 pounds and am wearing mostly small maternity clothes. Im sleeping a little better at night but I'm sure that will come to a screeching halt soon. I love watching my belly grow and intend on enjoying every bit of the remainder of my pregnancy!

100th Day of School

Today marks school day 100 and Maddie was required to do a project. She had to make a picture out of 100 items and chose to do a rainbow out of Fruit Loops. My OCD wanted to kick in at times but we were encouraged to let them do their own picture. She's 5 and it needed to look like it! I think she did great (though her rainbow is slightly "distorted"). After her rainbow, she wanted to draw clouds and a sun-to spice it up a little!

Stomach Bug

Wednesday evening, Brooklyn and Easton both got sick, shortly followed by Jaime and me. We spent the next three days in absolute misery. Maddie stayed home from school the rest of the week, partly because we just knew she'd get it at any moment, and the other part due to neither one of us being able to get out and take her. It was BAD. We are all mostly well now, except Brooklyn who is great during the day but seems to have a small episode each night. So we are still taking it easy with her tummy since it still seems to be recovering some. My entire house has been sanitized and I'm praying we do not get this again! Here are a few pictures of Brooklyn. It'll give you a small idea how everyone else (still, other than Maddie) felt.
