Magnolia Trip

Our SS girl's trip this year was to Waco. We went to the Magnolia Silos, The Findery, Spice Village and lots of other shopping places for fun antiques and clothes. It was fun to spend a night away and eat meals without small children hollering at me! I loved buying some things for our house (the Fixer Upper show is totally my inspiration) and bought a few new outfits too. Fun, fun weekend with my friends!!

4th of July, 2016

For the 4th, this year, we did something different and went with my parents to one of their friend's house. He's a local doctor and he lives on the lake. Apparently his family throws a big party every year with a HUGE firework show (paid for by everyone on the peninsula)! We all had a blast! It was a late night but the kids loved the fireworks & enjoyed some summer fun!
